Advocating for environmental conservation through content creation and community work

Fionah, a student at Africa Nazarene University, is the founder of Fifiture and Miss Environment Africa Nazarene University 2021.

She is passionate about wildlife and environmental conservation and uses her platform as Miss Environment ANU to advocate for environmental conservation. She believes that man is part of nature and is therefore directly affected by climate change. This is what motivated her to take an active role in conservation activities. She is keen on working with communities to form a grassroots movement to act in regards to tree growing and waste management.

She founded Fifiture, a page that seeks to advocate for environmental conservation through content creation, community work and an Eco shop (selling merchandise to plant/grow trees)

Additionally, she has also participated in community outreach in Kajiado and Meru counties, working with schools, churches and local authorities in areas of mentorship, advocacy, tree growing and domestic waste management. She works with various groups and organisations as it motivates more people to join in climate action.
