Promoting environmental conservation, agroforestry and reforestation
Victory Muchoki is an Open Forest Protocol ambassador. She was Miss Agriculture Egerton University 2017/2018.
She is passionate about environmental conservation, agroforestry and reforestation because these activities go towards restoring the planet. She engages in clean up projects, tree planting and teaches the young generation about mother earth protection and conservation.
She works with Open Forest Protocol as their ambassador to help promote tools for Measurement, Reporting and Validation of forest data. She uses her platform as Miss Earth delegate to advocate for environmental education among youths, children and the elderly. She has helped promote environmental awareness in schools and carried out clean up activities in said schools. Victory has planted more than a 100 trees, a fact she is very proud of as she has played a direct part in improving the condition of the planet.
She believes success in environmental conservation is “all about mentality”. She’s vocal on environmental education because if she can help change mindsets, then everyone will play an active role in conservation voluntarily.
