Gerald Ngatia is the secretary of the National Alliance of Community Forest Associations in Kenya (NACOFA). NACOFA’s main activity is to advocate for recognition of Community Forest Associations (CFAs) in the management and protection of forests in policy, linkages and programmes. NACOFA was formed in 2002 and registered in year 2005. We have been involved in formulation processes of forest laws, regulations, and implementation of programs.
