Colonel Major Yacouba Seybou served in several provinces of Niger as a Director in charge of forest resource management, agroforestry parks, and ecosystem restoration after completing his university studies and earning a degree in Water and Forestry Engineering and a Master’s degree in participatory forest resource management. Additionally, he has held positions of authority in several landscape restoration projects. Colonel Major Yacouba Seybou is currently the Director General of Water and Forests within the Ministry of Environment and the Fight against Desertification, having previously served as the National Director of Sustainable Land Management.
