Collins Cheruiyot is a Kenyan national with over fourteen-year experience managing programs and projects on Pastoralism, Climate change and agriculture. He has worked for several International Organizations, leading policy engagements with the African Union, SADC, EAC, and ECOWAS. Collins studied bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Economics, University of Nairobi, and an MA in International Development, University of York, UK.  Currently he is studying PhD in leadership and governance. He works for IUCN as a Chief of Party, managing a $35m project on ending Ending Drought Emergencies in Kenya, which among other among other aims seeks to restore 500,000 ha rangeland ecosystem in pastoral areas over the next 5 years.
